Education of the Leslie Public Schools,

Ingham and Jackson Counties, Michigan,

was called to order by President

Sherrell at 6:00 p.m.

spoke about proposed budget cuts.

spoke about privatization.


Mary Crowl, 2351 Olds Rd., Leslie,

spoke about possible pay cuts.


Joyce Kunkel, 4276 Kinneville Rd., Leslie,

spoke about employee pay cuts.


Barb Fogg, 2079 Kinneville Rd., Leslie,

spoke about pay cuts start at the top.

abstention 0. Motion carried.


Moved by W. Myers, supported by P. Fogg CLOSED SESSION

to convene into closed session pursuant

to Subsection 8 (a) of the Open Meetings

Act for the purpose of Superintendent

Evaluation. Vote: ayes 7, nays 0, absent 0,

abstention 0. Motion carried.

that the Board of Education re-enter regular

session at 8:56 p.m. Vote: ayes 7, nays 0,

absent 0, abstention 0. Motion carried.

Moved by P. Fogg, supported by A. Bigg CLOSED SESSION

to convene into closed session pursuant

to Subsection 8 (c) of the Open Meetings

Act for the purpose of discussing

contract negotiations. Vote: ayes 7,

nays 0, absent 0, abstention 0.

to eliminate “90-day trigger in Paragraph 5

abstention 0. Motion carried.
